I wanna get a belly percing but ............?

My cousin got a belly-button piercing. She got an infection, and then after it passed, it started causing much pain, so she had to take it out. She was eighteen, though. She regrets it, since it hurts a bit even after she took it out, since it caused much stretching on the skin.
