Thirteen year old makeup help?

I'm thirteen and i use black mascara, eyeliner, i curl my eyelashes and i wear L'oreal truematch powder coverup and some blush. i think it looks good on me, but everytime i see someones eyeshadow on really good i always wanna do it but i'm not sure how to put it on without it looking stupid. or maybe eyeshadow just isn't good on me? help. if you know any tutorials on youtube please comment.
