Does anyone think for a moment John Paul DID NOT know about the Church's coverup of rampant sexual abuse?

Just wondering,is that the first requirement for Sainthood,allowing the Church you lead to cover-up sexual abuse of countless victims by clergy and denying justice to those victims?
