Lol, ok is he gay or not?

Alright, so I've just come out and all. And there's this guy in my gym class and my science class. I was in the locker room one day and he says to me "Wait, I didn't know you were gay? I mean that's fine, I'm all for gay rights." And ever since then, he's been A LOT more friendly to me and touchy. And OK, all of a sudden in the morning during homeroom (right before science), he started regularly at sports news and all this other stuff about baseball. And I think it's because he's been hearing that there are some gay rumors about him. So, my friend Cara thinks he's trying harder to coverup those rumors by acting more sporty and what not (not to say that gays can't like sports, it's just our opinion). But today in gym, I caught the ball in kickball, and he runs over to me and gives me a huge hug...? I'm so confused. Is he gay, or just REALLY secure about his sexuality? hahaha
